I started Mushroom Mama Farms because the wonderful world of mushrooms helped change my life, and I wanted to help spread the word about these amazing fungi!!
I am a wife to an amazingly supportive husband, a mother to 2 wonderful teenagers, a manufacturing worker, and I have been suffering with fibromyalgia for the past 12 years. Mushrooms have helped me feel like my old self again, and I wanted to help spread not only the delicious flavor of gourmet mushrooms, but also the amazing benefits from mushrooms!!
Blue Oyster Mushrooms have a lighter umami flavor. The delicious flavor of the Blue Oyster goes great sautéed with garlic and onions. Also is amazing in a mushroom risotto.
Golden Oyster Mushrooms have a soft mushroom flavor and add beautiful color to your dish. These are best tossed in the last 5-10 mins of finishing the dish.
This curly edge mushroom has such a wonderful umami flavor. Sautéed with some veggies and balsamic vinegar or Worcestershire sauce is absolutely delicious!!!
This snowball looking mushroom is beyond delicious! Lion's Mane has almost a crab like flavor and can shred like chicken. Its great in a vegetarian crab cake or even sautéed up with some butter, garlic, and onions.
Chestnut mushrooms are a sturdy very yummy mushroom. It will hold up to being cooked in stews or soups. Also great for stuffing with yumminess inside and cooked in the oven
The Black Pearl mushroom is a hybrid that takes the hearty texture of the King Trumpet mushroom and the grow style of an oyster mushroom so it's not a thick as the King Trumpet. The Black Peral has a wonderful earthy flavor and is so good sautéed with some olive oil, red wine vinegar, and fresh thyme.

Garlic & Herb Shroom Seasoning is a delicious umami flavor with a strong garlic and Italian herb flavor! We use fresh ground Blue Oyster Mushrooms and fresh herbs.
This seasoning is wonderful on chicken, pork, or fish, and is mind blowing on any side dish!!
Cajun Shroom Seasoning is a delicious blend of chili's, herbs, and dried mushrooms. This such a beautiful joining of the earthy mushroom flavors and spices.

This seasoning is perfect on fish, chicken, and pork. Really anything you want to bring a kick too!
1/4 Cup soy sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
2 tsp fresh ginger
2 tsp fresh garlic
1 TBS scallions (divided)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4-1/2 tsp chili flakes, depends on how spicy you like it
1 1/2 tsp Garlic & Herb Shroom Seasoning
1/2 TBS butter
1/2 TBS olive oil
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and set aside to let the flavors marry together. Take yo

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and set aside to let the flavors marry together. Take your King Oyster and cut into thick slices. Depending on how big your mushroom is you can either slice them in half or for the bigger ones you can cut into slices. King Oyster Mushrooms are very thick and hold up to marinades and heat like a piece of chicken would. So it does help to score the sides of the mushroom before marinating them, this helps them soak up the marinade. Put the cut mushrooms into a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and give the mushrooms a toss, making sure to get the marinade all over the mushrooms. You can leave the mushrooms on the counter to marinate anywhere from 30 mins to 4 hours. When its time put 1/2 TBS of butter and 1/2 TBS of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the butter is melted put the mushrooms slices in an even layer into the pan. Let the mushrooms cook for about 5 mins and then flip an let them cook for about 4 mins on the other side. When the mushrooms get golden brown and have softened they are done.
1 french baguette sliced
4 oz of Blue Oyster Mushroom
1/3 of an onion thin sliced
1 clove of garlic minced
1/2 TBS of Cajun Shroom Seasoning
1/4 cup room temp butter (divided)
1/2 TBS of Garlic & Herb Shroom Seasoning
1tsp of salt (divided)
1/4 tsp of pepper
1 TBS olive oil
Brie cheese
Mix all except 1 TBS of butter with the Garlic & Herb S
1 french baguette sliced
4 oz of Blue Oyster Mushroom
1/3 of an onion thin sliced
1 clove of garlic minced
1/2 TBS of Cajun Shroom Seasoning
1/4 cup room temp butter (divided)
1/2 TBS of Garlic & Herb Shroom Seasoning
1tsp of salt (divided)
1/4 tsp of pepper
1 TBS olive oil
Brie cheese
Mix all except 1 TBS of butter with the Garlic & Herb Shroom Seasoning and 1/2 tsp of salt and set aside. Slice the baguette into about 1/2" think slices, and spread butter mixture on top. Put baguette slices on a lined cookie sheet and into a 350 degree oven for 3 mins. After 3 mins pull out bread and set it aside. Slice the tops off of the mushrooms and cut them into strips. Now place the mushrooms into a dry saute pan over a low to medium low heat. Once you see water start to come out of the mushrooms turn the heat up to medium and add in the remaining butter and 1 TBS of olive oil. Once the butter melts add in the onions, garlic, Cajun Shroom Seasoning, salt and pepper. Saute all of that together for about 7-10 mins or until the onions are translucent. When the mushroom onion mixture is done take it out of the pan onto a paper towel lined plate to soak up any extra oil. Now take the brie cheese and cut it into slices about 1/4 in thick. Place the brie on top of the toast and then spoon some of the mushroom onion mixture on top of the cheese. Place the bread slices back into the oven for 5-9 minutes. Once the cheese is melting the toast is ready to eat!

Hello, my name is Chassidy Liles and I'm Mushroom Mama! I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 13yrs ago, and then was given a handful of prescriptions and told to make the best of this life. I have 2 children that at the time were 2 and 5, I was a single mom then and to say I was struggling with keeping everything together was an understatement. I had to accept the fact that this is my life now and make the best of it and move forward for my kids. Years of having decent days and then terrible days. To get out of bed was so exhausting, but that's life. The doctors had given me medicine to help control my pain. I did all the physical therapy they could throw at me, but my life would always consist of living with my pain at a 5 and having so much brain fog felt like I was lost most of the time.
So fast-forward to early 2021 when my husband and I were at our local farmers market and we saw a booth of some very different looking mushrooms. I've never been the biggest fan of mushrooms, I always felt like they were slimy and didn't have much flavor, but my husband LOVES mushrooms. So we bought some of the different looking mushrooms and took them home to have with our supper. I told him I would try the mushrooms just to prove to him how much I don't like mushrooms. Well to my surprise I fell in love with the wonderful flavor of these not basic mushrooms, and that is when my obsession with fungi started!
I started doing so much research into the wonderful world of fungi and I realized that mushrooms have the power to not only heal us, but help keep us strong. My husband started educating himself on how to grow mushrooms at home and then how to turn them into tinctures. After some trial and error and some success at growing we built a lab and grow room at our home. I started taking the tinctures everyday and within 2 months i started coming off of my prescriptions. My pain is much less than it use to be, I sleep so much better, my brain fog is completely gone, and my eczema (which was so bad from all the medication's I was taking) has cleared up.
Tinctures are one of those things that you have to take everyday, and it takes at least 2 weeks for you to start to notice the difference. It is truly amazing how much of a difference tinctures can make to your everyday life and your overall health.
After realizing how mush mushrooms changed my life for the better I knew this is what I'm meant to do with my life. I needed to spread the word about how amazing mushrooms and mushroom tinctures are for everyone's health. So with the support of my amazing husband, I started Mushroom Mama Farms We are still a young business, but we are ready to grow and spread all the wonderfulness of mushrooms to everyone!
